Tatiana Zamir

CREATOR / CHOREOGRPAHER

Heavenly Rebirth

This is a creative collaboration between Tatiana Zamir and aeric meredith-goujon. Tatiana is exploring what it woud be like to recreate her birthing experince -- from one that was originally layered with trauma to one that feels like a peaceful welcoming.
In My Skin
Some of LA’s most vibrant artists use their voices and bodies to illuminate their experiences. Stories untold, unheard and reclaimed, find powerful expression through Hip Hop, West African, Afro-Latin, Contemporary movement and live music. These artists embody their vision for the future - dancing chronicles of protest and liberation, reclamation and hope.

In My Skin was produced by Tatiana Zamir, presented at Los Angeles’s historic Barnsdall Gallery Theater in 2018.
Moonlight Reflections
Tatiana Zamir’s experience as a choreographer, producer and storyteller led to her 2012 dance theater show Moonlight Reflections, an enthusiastically received excavation of trauma and resilience based on her life experiences. This show interweaved autobiographical solos using movement and spoken word, group choreography, and talented live musicians. After selling out one weekend at the Electric Lodge in Venice, CA, Moonlight Reflections presented an encore show at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater in Los Angeles.
Noble Am I
Noble Am I
explores various ways in which black women are impacted by Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome and illustrates the healing power of sisterhood, support and perseverance. This piece is heavily inspired by the important work of Dr.Joy DeGruy. Tatiana choreographed Noble Am I for her senior project while studying at UCLA. It was also performed at the 2006 WAC SMASH concert and was later developed for her first production Moonlight Reflections.
Nneka - Restless

Tatiana Zamir choreographed a duet for one of Nneka's music videos titled Restless, which she also had the pleasure to feature in.
